So in evaluating the industry/company you have chosen for your projects, what types of risks, legal and/or ethical, does the company and/or the clients/customers they serve be in danger of? Please answer the following questions: Ethics: • What code of ethics governs the technology you use and does it adhere to them? • What is the vendors' stance on ethics (operating/owning body of the technology you are researching)? Legal: • What kind of protection does your technology have protecting it? (copyright, trademark, and/or patent) • How long is it protected for? • If one technology is similar to the other how was the "rival" able to use similar intellectual property in its design? Safety: Whether the product you are researching for your final is hardware or software, there are weaknesses and vulnerabilities. • What are some of your technologies weaknesses and what are some possible solutions to remedy the problem? • What do you foresee are future maintenance or adjustments to your technology in the future?
